In a world obsessed with visibility, hustle and the relentless clamor of the “feed,” we choose a different path.
Our name derives from the Epicurean concept Lathe Biosas (λάθε βιώσας) — “Live in obscurity.” To us, this isn’t about hiding; it is about focus. It is the belief that the creator should dissolve and blend into their own creation.
We believe the best technology is the kind that feels invisible, zero corporate noise, zero distraction, just pure, precise sound shaping that lets your music speak for itself.
Our Story
A legacy of StrangeLines
Lazebiosa is the evolution of a journey that began with StrangeLines.
Founded by Ernesto Cecco D’Ortona, StrangeLines established a world-class reputation for pushing the boundaries of Ableton Live and Max for Live devices. From the glitch-heavy textures of Streakulator, to the analog-grade precision of SynFX, or the effective simplicity of Ryoji Pro, our tools became secret weapons for sound designers, producers and live performers who wanted to break the mold.
We haven’t changed who we are, but we have refined our purpose. Lazebiosa is the crystallization of that original vision: a dedicated space for “sick and fast” sound shaping, free from the clutter of the industry.
Lazebiosa is a brand built for modern producers who value the integrity of the signal flow above all else.
Our Mission
Our mission is to arm you with tools that are as unpretentious as they are powerful: every plugin is designed to fit seamlessy into your workflow.
We reject corporate/marketing bullshit. We don’t sell lifestyle, but products that truly inspire new music and art.
We provide silence and science for wise producers and sound designers to express their most valuable creative vision, the rest is noise.
The Future
Sound unbound.
As we move forward, we continue to explore the intersection of digital precision and organic chaos. We are committed to maintaining the legacy of StrangeLines while forging new paths in frequency modulation and spectral manipulation.
In an era where everyone is shouting to be heard, we invite you to close your eyes, ignore the crowd and retune your listening “starting from silence”.
